Using Generative AI to create your emails

👉 Creating text for your email campaigns can be very time-consuming. The Write with AI and Create with AI features, based on Chat GPT, allows you to generate your text and image contents in a few clicks (and a few words).

How does "Write with AI" work?

When adding a text block on the Splio email builder, the option "Write with AI" appears when clicking on the block.

You can then describe what you are expecting in terms of text, tone of voice, length, or any interesting information, this is your prompt.

Then a text block will be displayed and you can decide to import it by clicking on Apply.

If the text is not ok, you can Regenerate one clicking on the button or add some new information to your request to make it sharper.

The prompt: what is it?

The prompt is the instruction you are giving to the Gen AI engine.

As explained in our feature, you should follow those best practices to reach the expected results when writing your prompt.

Using Generative AI to generate images

How does "Create with AI" work?

When adding an image block on the Splio email builder, the option "Create with AI" appears when clicking on the block.

You can then describe what you are expecting in terms of image, giving any interesting information as instructions, this is your prompt.

You can also add a "Negative Prompt". The negative prompt helps you make sure to avoid certain things will not appear on the image.

Then an image block will be displayed and you can decide to import it by clicking on Apply.

If the text is not ok, you can Regenerate image one clicking on the button or add some new information to your request to make it sharper.

Best practices to write an image prompt :

1. Be Descriptive and Specific

Clearly describe the subject, environment, and style of the image.
Example: "A cozy cabin in a snowy forest, with smoke rising from the chimney, under a starry night sky."

2. Include Visual Details

Mention colors, textures, lighting, and specific elements.
Example: "A golden retriever playing on a lush green meadow with vibrant wildflowers, under warm sunlight."

3. Specify the Style or Medium

Define the artistic style, such as realistic, watercolor painting, futuristic digital art, etc.
Example: "A futuristic cityscape at night, in cyberpunk style, with neon lights and flying cars."

4. Mention Perspective and Composition

Indicate the angle or framing, like close-up, bird's-eye view, wide shot, etc.
Example: "Close-up of a steaming cup of coffee on a wooden table, with blurred background."

5. Use Adjectives Wisely

Adjectives help refine the mood and tone of the image.
Example: "A serene, misty morning by a calm lake, with pastel hues and soft lighting."

6. Avoid Ambiguity

Be clear to prevent misinterpretation.
Ambiguous: "A house in a field."
Better: "A rustic stone cottage in a field of lavender, with rolling hills in the background."

7. Add Context or Story

Provide context for dynamic or storytelling elements.
Example: "A knight in shining armor standing on a cliff, overlooking a castle in the distance."

8. Include Size and Orientation (Optional)

Specify if you need specific dimensions, e.g., square, wide, portrait.

9. Iterate and Refine

Start with a general prompt and refine based on output.
Example: First attempt: "A beach sunset."
Refined: "A tropical beach at sunset, with palm trees silhouetted against an orange and purple sky."

10. Limit Overloading

Focus on a few key details rather than overwhelming the prompt with too many elements.
